Trip Questions?

As Lake Texoma fishing guides Sparky and crew want to make sure you have a great time. Below, we have tried to answer most of the questions you might have about our guided fishing trips. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, feel free to contact us.

What should I bring with me?

Fishing License:
The state of Oklahoma requires all resident and non-resident fishermen between the ages of 16 and 65 to obtain a valid Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation fishing license. A special Lake Texoma Fishing license is available for those who only wish to fish on Lake Texoma. Licenses may be purchased online from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Please check our links page for a link to the online license purchase page.

Ice Chest:
You will need an ice chest for transporting your fish fillets home.

Rain Gear:

You know what they say about Oklahoma: If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute and it will change. Unfortunately, that change sometimes means rain. You never know if you’ll need your rain gear or not, but it’s handy to have just in case.

Bring home some proof of those fish stories you’ve been telling your friends.

SunGlasses and Sun Block:

You’re out here to bring home some fish, not lobster. Haha. The Oklahoma sun can be brutal, so bring some skin and eye protection to keep your day going cool and comfortable.

Sack Lunch and Drink:
A day’s fishing sure makes a tasty lunch and refreshing drink great to have.

What is provided for me?

Boat and Electronics:
We go fishing in a fully furnished boat with a fish locator and marine radio as well as life preservers.

Fish Filleting:
Don’t worry about cleaning all those fish you caught. Once we get back, I’ll go to work filleting those fish while you take it easy.

Highly Skilled Guide:
Leave the fish finding to me. I’ll get you set up and pulling those fish in left and right.
